As Head of Design for KINLAB I took on the responsibility of auditing our in-house branding for further development and balance. Not only from the visual aspect, but also re-writing our brand statement.

Brand Statement

Kinlab is a world class collection of collaborative designers, researchers, analysts, coaches and creators with a passion for guiding people to live a life of wellness and activity. Kinlabbers have a shared value system and beliefs which we use to frame our work and the impact we strive to achieve.

Primary Mark

Adding a little weight to the letters and adding symmetry to the let of the “K'“ to mirror the the fin of the surfboard with a little angle on the “L” to infer a nesting with the “A” and a friendly “B” that has a little bit of a human touch

Secondary Mark

Believing the secondary mark could be a stand alone glyph that represented the brand in full using the “Fin” and the “K” together felt natural and clean solution.
