Wanting the new academy to be set apart from the rest of the “bridges” in Portland we presented them with a unique narrative.
We aimed to provide the BCSA with an icon that enveloped their views on team work an unity
The swift embodies this, it is a true icon of Portland.
BE SWIFT.
With the form of the swift flying fast towards the sky, the classic diamond shape crest was the perfect holding shape, inverted hazard stripes counting as many as there are bridges in Portland to fill out the balance.
